Food:
Ulus 29 - killer view on a mountain side. Al fresco take-your-breath-away dining, and the food is sensational.
Mikla - urban, modern atmosphere, great food, killer view.
Baklava & lemonade on the street.
Street vendors and small food shops are great, and fresh.

Party/Drink/Food:
Reina (http://www.reina.com.tr/2008/) - it's a big complex of several bars and restaurants - all kinds of deliciousness, right on the water. Fantastic.
Anjelique - we went on a weekday and it was dead, but supposed to be phenomenal on weekend.

Tourist stuff:
Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Sultan Palace (harem, kitchen, etc.)

Other:
Turkish bath/hammam

Cappadocia, Turkey

Places to Stay:

MUSEUM HOTEL - this was an incredible property and the owner is a rare rugs dealer with an appointment only store nearby. Dre's favourite was getting a shave by a barber at the property overlooking Cappadocia.

GUIDE: Get a provate guide arranged at the hotel, it is the friend of Omar the owner and is a top knotch guide for the area. We visited various ruins and went into other cities around including Avanos, Sarihan Caravanseri

KappadokyaBalloons - they were the first and are still the best! Lots of folks take the cheap route, but its not a goo idea.Publish Post
