When is the best time to go to Laos?
*Nov - Feb (dry season), but rainy season is nice as well
*July - Oct - Best for river travel

What is Pakse - adventure travel (waterfalls, trekking,etc). You can get there by taking a bus from Vientiane or by plane from Vientiane. You can also get there via links from Bangkok or Siem Reap. You can rent a motor bike and cruise (8 USD). There are tons of temples to visit as well. You can also get to Wat Phou (birthplace of Khmer)in about 1 hour (70 USD via taxi).
